The proposal for the revised EF Language School development is scheduled to go before the council’s South Area Committee tomorrow night (Thursday 9 May). The meeting is open to the public, and takes place at Trumpington Village Hall from 7pm. The proposal to be put to the council is here and it’s worth a read, because it includes the various consultations, comments and advice which have taken place over the past few weeks. Representations were made by the owners/occupiers of Nos. 3, 5, 6 and 19 Lady Jane Court, and the Vicar and PCC of the Church of St John the Evangelist. The council officer addresses these in the report, and recommends that the development is approved, subject to a list of conditions, including that “no construction work or demolition shall be carried out or plant operated other than between 0800 hours to 1800 hours Monday to Friday, and 0800 hours to 1300 hours on Saturday”.
