One of our local councillors, Jean Swanson, has been very active in finding out about the proposed EF Language School development. She has recently met with Sophie Pain, the case officer for the application, and has reported back as follows:
1. The Notice ? The Council put up the one which has been spotted, and there may be another with a longer consultation period.
2. There are several policies to balance and see which takes precedence ? that is some of the work which is being done.
3. Development Control Forum ? There is plenty of support for a DCF (update: it’s happening on 4 July).
4. The Design and Conservation team will look at the application on the afternoon of 4 July.
